The Giachin family is exclusevely devoted to agriculture: olive growing, viticulture, and cattle breeding are their major concerns. Brothers Armando and Elio are joint owners of the family business, whereas the younger generation is involved in modernising the products, following the trends of the market.
Extra virgin olive oil has been produced by our family for over thirty years. Our olive groves are located in the areas surrounding Vodnjan-Dignano. At present, we take care of around 3000 olive trees, of which the majority is made up of autochthonous sorts (busa, carbonasa, bianchera istriana, frantoio), along with common Italian varieties (leccino and pendolino).
In the last decade, their production has increased considerably and has adopted the most modern techniques of growing, producing, transforming and storing olive oil.
Two years ago, they bottled and labeled their first oil.
