About: OPG Cossara
Livio Cossara started intensive cultivation of olive trees 20 years ago. Committing himself to the family olive groves, to knowing the technology of processing olives, he greatly improved the quality of his olive oil. Inheriting the olive from his grandfather and father, Livio Cossara has set a goal to bring the quality of his olives and olive oil to a higher level. The olive groves are located near Vodnjan in the area of Salvela and Sanpiero. He is cultivating native varieties such as buza, carbonazza, rosignola and moražola.
All olives are hand picked. He annually produces approximately 400-450 liters of olive oil. Hard work, dedication and knowledge were recognized in the industry, and then followed numerous rewards - the olive oil fair in Vodnjan, then Medulin, two gold awards in Split, for the buza and carbonazza olive oils.
